Our Team

Greg received his Bachelor’s (Magna Cum Laude) and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton (UD). As a LEED AP BD&C, Greg has completed over 4-dozen LEED-compliant energy models and served as the LEED Program Manager for over 13 LEED projects. Greg's involvement with the USGBC has included participation in his local chapter, attending the 2007, 2008 and 2010 Greenbuild conferences, and educating prospective LEED APs. Greg has also served as the technical editor for four books in the "For Dummies ®" series dealing with residential solar energy, residential energy efficiency, and alternative energy sources.

Greg was actively involved as the co-president of the UD Sustainability Club, and in the Berry Scholars Program. He worked with the UD Industrial Assessment Center and co-founded the UD Building Energy Center (BEC). Greg published his graduate thesis on residential energy efficiency, net-zero energy design, and existing building retrofits. One major component of his graduate thesis was the co-design of the UD Eco-House with our very own George Mertz.

Greg currently represents the Go Sustainable Energy Chicago office. He is actively involved in business development in the surrounding region while supporting our Dayton and Columbus teams with energy analysis.
