Our Team

Franc is an engineer with Go Sustainable Energy. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton (UD). He has extensive experience in the design and analysis of energy efficient commercial and industrial systems.

Before working for Go, Franc worked at an HVAC design firm where he focused on sustainable design of commercial buildings. He has completed numerous HVAC and plumbing designs for LEED certified buildings. During these designs, Franc developed and used LEED-compliant energy models to optimize the building’s energy efficiency, maximizing the owner’s investment.

Franc also worked in the UD Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) as a graduate assistant. Working in the IAC allowed him to apply his background in thermodynamics, heat transfer and statistics to find economical ways to reduce building and industrial systems’ energy usage for a wide variety of industries. Franc’s research focused on Inverse Simulation of building energy systems, refrigeration systems, statistical optimization of energy systems and industrial processes, and advancing methods of measurement and verification of energy savings.

Franc believes energy efficiency is the most cost-effective way to meet the nation’s increasing demand for energy and reduce our impact on the environment. This drives him to passionately apply his knowledge and skills to find appropriate solutions to the most difficult problems. Franc represents the Go Sustainable Energy Cleveland office and is eager to meet our Northeast Ohio client’s needs.
