Gregory Raffio, PE, LEED AP BD+C
Greg oversees business development and client relations for Go. His energy engineering experience enables him to more effectively work with our current and prospective clients to develop technically and economically feasible solutions to their needs.
Greg manages our Strategic Energy Management projects, helping our clients navigate both the technical and non-technical ways of interacting with the complex world of energy and energy efficiency. As a project team member, Greg most regularly assists our clients in understanding the technical and economic feasibility of distributed energy resources such as renewable energy and energy storage. He also has significant experience with commissioning, energy simulation, energy auditing, and portfolio-scale utility data analysis projects. He received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
Greg has authored or co-authored eleven technical papers in the field of Zero Energy Buildings (ZEBs), energy efficiency, and multi-site analysis. Greg continuously educates himself about the ZEB industry. He is driven by his passion for the adoption and normalization of life-cycle cost-effective ZEBs to empower owners to control their interactions with a constantly volatile utility infrastructure.
Greg is our team’s “barefoot” runner and encourages staff and visitors to take a running or walking break each afternoon. You’d be surprised how many walking meetings we’ve had! Greg hosts a community-supported agriculture (CSA) drop-off at his home, providing easy access to local produce to about 40 families during the Ohio growing season and beyond. He’ll try to recruit you if you ask about it!
