Scott Eardley

Scott is an energy engineer who brings a varied background and a specialization in industrial energy auditing to Go. He provides technical analysis in energy audits, measurement & verification, commissioning, and other efficiency projects. Scott first earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and then spent a decade as an environmental engineer in various roles in consulting, regulation, and plant engineering. His experiences range across environmental site assessments, water and wastewater engineering, and regulatory compliance. This diversity of experiences and knowledge affords Scott a holistic perspective when approaching projects and finding solutions for clients.


Scott then pursued and earned a Master of Science in Renewable and Clean Energy from the University of Dayton (UD). There, Scott worked for the UD Industrial Assessment Center (UD-IAC) performing energy assessments for industrial facilities throughout Ohio. At UD, Scott also published research on sustainable manufacturing topics and took first place in a national energy innovation challenge.


Scott and his husband are proud residents of one of Dayton’s historic neighborhoods and can typically be found enjoying the city’s many restaurants and watering holes when they are not exploring the wilds. In his free time, Scott enjoys cooking, reading, videogames, and spending time with loved ones.
